the land

In 2018, Angela and her husband bought 63 acres in Midcoast Maine to help ground the vision of Good Ground Great Beyond. The land was selectively harvested and is resting and restoring. It will continue to need our ongoing care and attention to become a space for ceremony, contemplation and remembrance. Our hope is that people will find some inspiration in making open air cremation available and will eventually want to help be stewards of the land for the benefit of one another and our communities.
